Located on the left bank of the river Odet, 2 kilometres from Quimper, the Manor was for six centuries the bishops’ summer residence. It hangs over terraced formal French style gardens. Today, the gardens offers an outstanding botanical collection.

Bequeathed by Joseph Astor to the Institut de France in 1928 the Manor is a residence with a lot of character and owns a large collection of Quimper faiences as well as an important collection of Breton inspired paintings.
In a 5 ha landscape park you will find many unusual walks: the vegetable garden and its greenhouse, the fishpond, the wash house... many centuries old trees.

Rospico Botanical Gardens

The Rospico Gardens is a 5 ha floral park, close to the cove of Rospico. 2000 species and varieties of different plants from the 5 continents and a 1200m2 covered area with a tea-room, an exhibition glasshouse and a plant nursery.

In a 3.5 ha natural park discover botanical treasures from China, Japan, Australia, and New-Zealand. In the museum, you will find a huge exhibition of minerals and gems from the whole world.

Keriolet Castle

Built in the XV Century it was transformed at the end of the XIX century for Princess Zenaïde Narischkine, aunt to Tsar Nicolas II.
All through the XXth century, different owners slowly led the manor to its ruin. Since 1988 a restoration is done place with great care.

Owned by the Department of Finistère, listed as "Monument Historique", the Manor, built in the XVth century is a true witness of the architecture of a Breton manor since Middle-Ages.
The Manor proposes temporary exhibitions and many events, which helps keep this place alive.
